I'm Iago Willyam, I'm 18 and I've been editing videos since I was 13. I love editing and motion, especially when the work involves more complex builds.
Curiosity and perfectionism are part of who I am. I like to dedicate myself to the details and look carefully at what I'm creating.
My work can start at the storyboard and go all the way to animation. On other videos, I come in for the edit only. Different paths within what I love most: working with video.
Process
From storyboard to video.
Storyboard
Planning the scenes before animating. The storyboard helps visualize what will happen in the video and the sequence between scenes.
Animation
Giving movement to the planned scenes. This is the stage where the storyboard stops being an image and becomes motion.
Editing
Working the footage into a video. I can work on this stage alone, including projects with more complex edits.
FAQ
Before we talk.
Do you also do editing only?
Yes. Besides motion, I work on videos where my role is only to edit. The project doesn't need to include a storyboard or animation.
Do I need to bring a finished storyboard?
No. I also create the storyboard, so that stage can be part of the motion work.
